Pair of Rio women honored by OCSA

     WILMINGTON, Ohio – University of Rio Grande midfielder Jitske De Muijnk has been named to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association's NAIA/Division II All-Ohio Women's Soccer team.
     The 13-player squad was comprised of a goalkeeper, five defenders, four midfielders and three forwards.
     De Muijnk, a native of Nijmegen, The Netherlans, was a second team All-River States Conference honoree after helping the RedStorm advance to the RSC Tournament finals.
     She finished the season with two goals and two assists for six points.
     Also earning honors for the RedStorm was senior midfielder Trinity Hassey (Westerville, OH), who was named to the OCSA's Academic All-Ohio Team.
     Hassey, a Social Work major, posted a 3.54 grade point average in the classroom.
     On the field, Hassey's injury-shortened campaign produced two goals and an assist.
