RedStorm duo claim weekly honor

     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande outside hitter Amanda Rarick and setter Elle McLoughlin were named the River States Conference Women's Volleyball Attacker and Setter of the Week, respectively, on Monday.
     Rarick, a senior from Canal Winchester, Ohio, logged 49 kills in three matches last week to lead the RedStorm to a 3-0 start in River States play.
     Rarick's best match came in a Friday victory over Brescia, where she logged 17 kills in just three sets, good for a .324 attack percentage. She also added eleven digs and eight block assists on the week.
     McLoughlin, a junior from Zanesville, Ohio, had another do-everything week for the RedStorm, racking up 123 assists over three matches, while adding 28 digs and six total blocks.
     McLoughlin, who currently ranks fifth in the nation in total assists with 641, had a double-double in the RSC opener against IU East, recording 46 assists and eleven digs.
