Rio Grande's Grace Forrest was named the River States Conference Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week on Monday. She qualified for NAIA nationals in the 5,000-meter racewalk at the Electric City Invitational in Anderson, S.C., posting a time of 27 minutes, 20.97 seconds to make her nationals mark and also set a school record in the process.

     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - Grace Forrest from the University of Rio Grande is the River States Conference Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for April 8-14.
     Forrest, a redshirt sophomore from Woodstock, Ohio, qualified for NAIA nationals in the 5,000-meter racewalk. She met the NAIA "A" standard placing third at the Electric City Invitational in Anderson, S.C.
     Forrest posted a time of 27 miutes, 20.97 seconds to make her nationals mark and also set a school record in the process.
