     ASHLAND, Ohio - Amarissa Kerns gave the University of Rio Grande women's track and field team at Top 10 finish at Saturday's Ashland Jud Logan Light Giver Invitational, hosted by Ashland University, at the Niss Athletic Center.
     Kerns, a junior from Lancaster, Ohio finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:51.55.
     The meet included athletes from a number of institutions across all three divisions of the NCAA, as well as NAIA schools.
     Rio Grande is scheduled to return to action at the River States Conference Championship, which is set for Friday and Saturday at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio.
