     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande goalkeeper Alba Vilades Marin was named the River States Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
     Vilades Marin, a senior from Barcelona, Spain, came up big in the RSC Match of the Week, pitching a shutout and collecting four saves for the RedStorm against IU Kokomo.
     She then ensured a Rio Grande win on Saturday, making two saves from point-blank range among her six stops overall to help keep the RedStorm ahead in a 4-1 victory over Shawnee State.
