     OXFORD, Ohio - Sophia Kline from the University of Rio Grande has been named the River States Conference Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
     League officials made the announcement on Monday.
     Kline, a junior forward from Sugar Grove, Ohio put up some eye-popping numbers - on both sides of the ball - in a trio of wins.
     She averaged 13.7 points, 14.7 rebounds and 4.7 blocks in wins over Cornerstone, Spring Arbor and Kentucky Christian, posting three straight double-doubles. The signature win of the week came against Spring Arbor, who entered the contest with a 12-1 record.
