     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande senior guard Kaylee Darnell was named the River States Conference Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
     The Wheelersburg, Ohio native had another productive week for the RedStorm in contests against Shawnee State and WVU Tech.
     Darnell scored 22 points on 56.3 percent shooting in a narrow loss to the Bears, then responded with 32 points on 52 percent shooting in a blowout win over WVU Tech.
     She averaged 27 points per game on the week, making 53.7 percent of her shots and 53.8 percent of her threes.
