Darnell claims second straight weekly honor

     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande standout Kaylee Darnell has been named River States Conference Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
     A senior from Wheelersburg, Ohio, Darnell repeated the honor after leading 15th-ranked Rio Grande to a key non-conference win over (RV) Milligan.
     Darnell scored 27 points, dished out six assists, and pulled down five rebounds in the 86-77 victory. She is currently one of just 10 players in the nation with 24 or more points per game in three contests this season.
