MSC recognizes RedStorm's Wagers

     BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - University of Rio Grande junior Bruce Wagers was named the Mid-South Conference Men's Wrestler of the Week by conference officials on Monday.
     Wagers, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, went 6-0 en route to the championship of the 285-pound division at the Missouri Valley Invitational in Marshall, Mo.
     Wagers pinned No. 10-ranked Johnny Cruz of Indiana Tech to win secure the title.
     He helped the RedStorm finish 15th out of 50 competing schools and earned the honor for the first time this season.
