RSC recognizes Rio Grande's Khan

     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande freshman libero Maaz Khan was named the River States Conference Men's Volleyball Defender of the Week on Monday.
     Khan, a native of Peshawar, Pakistan, logged 32 digs in matches against Georgetown and Brescia on Friday and Saturday.
     He had 17 digs against the defending national champion Tigers, then averaged five digs per set in leading the RedStorm to a sweep over Brescia on Saturday.
