Rio Grande trio sweeps weekly MSC honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The University of Rio Grande swept weekly awards with Caden Donaldson (attacker), Seth Mohr (defender), and Mitch Bartecki (setter) earning Mid-South Conference Men's Volleyball Players of the Week honors.
Conference officials made the announcement on Monday.
Donaldson, an outside hitter/libero from Jackson, Ohio, had 21 total kills and seven kills-per-set in the RedStorm's sweep over the Brescia Bearcats.
The senior killed just over 43% of his total attacks.
Donaldson earned weekly honors for the third time this season and for the sixth time in his career.
Mohr, a libero/setter from Canton, Ohio, had 16 total digs, averaging 5.33 per set in Rio Grande's sweep against Brescia.
The junior earned weekly honors for the second time this season and for the fifth time in his career.
Bartecki, a setter from Valparaiso, Ind., had a huge 14.67 assists per set in the RedStorm's lone outing of the week.
In the victory, the sophomore had 44 total assists in just three sets.
