Rio Grande pair honored by MSC

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – University of Rio Grande sophomores Sam Kaylor and Seth Mohr were named the Mid-South Conference Men's Volleyball Attacker and Setter of the Week, respectively, while Thomas More University's Caleb Lipscomb was the Defender of the Week conference officials announced on Monday.
Kaylor, an Outside Hitter from Lewis Center, Ohio, led the RedStorm's second-year program to their first back-to-back wins ever against Roosevelt (Ill.) University and St. Mary-of-the-Woods (Ind.) College.
Kaylor, who averaged 3.75 kills per set in the two wins, was recognized for the first time this season and the first time in his career.
Mohr, an Outside Hitter/Setter from Canton, Ohio, averaged double-digit assists per set with 10.63 in Rio's two wins. The weekly honor is his second for the season and the second in his career.
Lipscomb had nine total blocks in the Saints' four-set win over Cumberland (Tenn.). He averaged 1.36 blocks per set on Thomas More's 2-1 week.
