     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande sophomore Troy Mason was named the River States Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week on Monday.
     Mason was one of the top sprinters in attendance at the Marshall Alumni Classic, competing against NCAA Division I and Division II programs.
     The Greenville, Grenada native placed first in the 400 meter run and second in the 200 meter run in Huntington. Both times currently rank among the top 10 in the NAIA, with his time in 200 ranking fifth and his time in the 400 ranking ninth.
