Rio's Coppiz earns weekly honors

     OXFORD, Ohio - Nahuel Coppiz from the University of Rio Grande has been named the River States Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Conference officials made the announcement on Monday.
     Coppiz, a freshman midfielder from Cordoba, Argentina, was big in two wins last week for the RedStorm.
     Coppiz scored a goal in Rio's 5-0 victory over Shawnee State, then added a goal and a pair of assists in a 10-0 victory over IU East on Saturday, keeping alive the RedStorm's hope for a first-round bye in the upcoming RSC Championship.
