     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - Rafael Kawata from No. 7-ranked University of Rio Grande is the River States Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 9-15.
     A freshman midfielder from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Kawata had a big game in the only contest of the week for the RedStorm, scoring a hat trick in the first half of an 11-0 victory over IUPUC.
     His effort included the game-winning goal and it came on six shots.
