     COLUMBUS, Ohio - The University of Rio Grande men's bowling team posted a 16th place finish in Saturday's Ohio Bowling Conference No. 4 event at the Columbus Bowling Palace.
     The RedStorm toppled 5,161 pins over 32 rounds of baker play.
     Muskingum University won the 17-team event with 6,985 pins, edging out Ohio State University for the top spot by 18 pins.
     The University of Northwestern Ohio finished third with 6,749 pins.
     Rio Grande's roster for the event included freshman Caden Faust (Hillsboro, OH), freshman Daniel Mast (Carlisle, PA), junior Dominic Catanese (North Royalton, OH), Jack Sorrell, junior Jacob LeMaster (Chillicothe, OH), senior James Blaney (Marengo, OH), freshman Kameron Madison (Ripley, OH), freshman Logan Morris (Chillicothe, OH), freshman Merik Candella (Columbus, OH) and sophomore Sailor Cope (Chillicothe, OH).
     Mast was recognized as the RedStorm's Newcomer of the Year.
     Rio Grande will wrap up its regular season schedule next Friday and Saturday at the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, Ind.
