RedStorm places 9th at Western PA Shootout

     GREENSBURG, Pa. - The University of Rio Grande men's bowling team rolled their way to a ninth-place showing in the 10-team Western PA Baker Shootout, which took place Sunday at Hillview Lanes.
     The RedStorm tallied 4,706 pins over the course of 28 baker games.
     Shawnee State University (5,197 pins) edged the University of Akron (5,185) and St. Vincent College (5,181) for the top position.
     Rio Grande's roster for the event included sophomore Dominic Catanese (North Royalton, OH), sophomore Gage Hamm (Rushsylvania, OH), senior Hunter Bolender (Mt. Orab, OH), freshman Jakhai Agnew (Columbus, OH), freshman Justin Lowery (Chillicothe, OH), freshman Mason Spies (Marion, OH) and freshman Sailor Cope (Chillicothe, OH).
     The RedStorm is scheduled to return to action at the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament No. 4, which is set for Saturday, Feb. 8, in Columbus, Ohio.
