    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - First-year University of Rio Grande head softball coach Kristen Bradshaw has announced the signing of Gallia Academy High's Mattie Lanham to a national letter of intent to join the RedStorm beginning with the 2013 season.
    "I couldn't be happier," Lanham said. "I've always wanted to go to Rio, so it was a very easy decision for me. Playing at the collegiate level has been a goal and a dream of mine since I was in the fifth grade."

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - The University of Rio Grande will be hosting its High School Winter Indoor Softball League on Sunday afternoons, November 6-27, 2011 and January 8-29, 2012.

    The league is open to students in grades 9-12 and provides an opportunity for players to continue their skill development in a competitive program.

     The 23-year-old native of Portsmouth, Ohio was recently named the head softball coach at the University of Rio Grande.

RIO GRANDE, Ohio --- The University of Rio Grande RedStorm softball program stayed close to home for its most recent signing, making the trek to South Gallia High School for the signing of Morgan Gilliland and Tayler Duncan to letters of intent to play softball at Rio Grande beginning in the 2011-12 year.

RIO GRANDE, Ohio --- A busy recruiting season continued for the University of Rio Grande softball program as head coach Danwjene DeLong brought in a sixth recruit for her 2011-12 recruiting class. She is Allison Hurst from Fairfield High School.

RIO GRANDE, Ohio --- The University of Rio Grande RedStorm softball program has signed Sydney Morris of Colerain High School to a grant-in-aid letter to play softball beginning in the 2011-12 season.
