    PICKERINGTON, Ohio – University of Rio Grande head track & field coach Bob Willey has announced the signings of Pickerington Central High School standouts Alex Nichols and Nathaniel Kosnich for the 2014 season.
    Nichols is a 5-foot-10, 255-pound thrower who competes in both shot put and discus, while Kosnich is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound hurdler for the Tigers of head coach Jason Roach, himself a Rio Grande alum.
    Both signees said they're excited to be joining the RedStorm.
    "Competing at the college level has been a goal of mine since my freshman year in high school," Nichols said. "I'm really happy that I have that opportunity."
    "I am very excited," Kosnich said. "This is the realization of a dream that I've had for as long as I can remember."

    VINCENT, Ohio – University of Rio Grande track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Warren Local High School's Adrian Shields for the 2014 season.
    Shields, a 5-foot-7, 125-pound sprinter, is a four-year varsity letterman for head coach Al Riffey's Warriors. He also runs relays for Warren.
    "It's been a dream of mine to compete collegiately since I was a little kid," Shields said. "I'm very happy and can't wait to continue running."

    NELSONVILLE, Ohio – University of Rio Grande track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Nelsonville-York High School's Isaac Andrews for the 2014 season.
    Andrews, a 6-foot-0, 280-pound thrower, competes in both the shot put and discus for head coach Noah Watkins' Buckeyes and has qualified for the regional meet in both events this spring.
    Andrews is a two-time All-Tri Valley Conference selection in track, while also earning first team All-Ohio and All-Southeast District honors. He was also named All-TVC and All-Southeast District in football.

    GALION, Ohio – University of Rio Grande track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Northmor High School's Clint Crose for the 2013-14 school year.
    Crose, a 5-foot-11, 135-pound sprinter, took top honors in the 200-meter dash and placed second in the 100-meter dash at the district championship as a junior. He was also part of head coach Doug Wagner's 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams, which also qualified for the regional championship last spring.

    BIDWELL, Ohio – University of Rio Grande track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of River Valley High School's Justin Mabe for the 2013-14 school year.
    Mabe, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound sprinter/jumper for coach Jacob Attar's Raiders, has competed in the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles, as well as the high jump this season. As a junior, his event list also included the 400-meter dash, along with the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays and the 4x55 shuttle hurdles.

    McCONNELSVILLE, Ohio – University of Rio Grande track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Morgan High School duo Derek Dingey and Clinton Campbell for the 2013-14 school year.
    Dingey, a 6-foot-0, 250-pound thrower, and Campbell, a 5-foot-10, 150-pound sprinter/hurdler, are both key members of head coach John Robbins squad.
    Dingey qualified for the Ohio state championship meet last year in discus and was a regional qualifier in the shot put, while Campbell reached the state meet in the 300 hurdles.
