Rio Grande---Come join the fun while learning basketball fundamentals and teamwork at the Rio Fall Basketball Academy (RFBA) with the University of Rio Grande men's and women's basketball programs.

Rio Grande --- The University of Rio Grande RedStorm women's basketball program has added Ashley Evans of Hammond, Indiana to the fold. The Gavit High School product has signed a national letter of intent to play for the RedStorm beginning in the 2010-11 season.

Rio Grande --- The University of Rio Grande women's basketball program ventured into Lawrence County for the third time during this recruiting season to land a player. This time the stop was South Point and the recruit was Tinesha Taylor.

Rio Grande --- The University of Rio Grande men's and women's basketball programs will be hosting a golf scramble on Saturday, July 31 at Franklin Valley Golf Course in Jackson, Ohio. The four-person scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

Rio Grande --- University of Rio Grande RedStorm head women's basketball coach David Smalley did not venture too far away to land his latest recruit in Hailee Swain of South Gallia High School. Swain signed a national letter of intent to play basketball for Rio Grande beginning in the 2010-11 season.
