Season ends for RedStorm men
Frankfort, Ky. --- The 2009-10 basketball season came to an end for the University of Rio Grande RedStorm men's team on Friday morning in the quarterfinal round of the Mid-South Conference Tournament. Rio, the No. 8 seed, lost 93-77 to top-seeded and NAIA No. 7 Campbellsville, the MSC regular season champion.

Rase earns All-MSC Honorable Mention
Frankfort, Ky. --- University of Rio Grande RedStorm senior guard P.J. Rase was tabbed honorable mention All-Mid-South Conference on Thursday night at the annual banquet held at the Capital Plaza Hotel.

RedStorm hoops top free throw shooting team in NAIA
Rio Grande --- It has been struggle this season for the University of Rio Grande RedStorm men's basketball team - a season spent learning tough lessons as they have made the jump back to the NAIA Division I level and playing in one of the toughest leagues in the country. Through all of the adversity, Rio Grande has done something better than any other team in the NAIA and that's make free throws.

Rio Grande --- The University of Rio Grande RedStorm men's basketball team will match up with regular season Mid-South Conference Champion and top seed Campbellsville in the quarterfinal round of the 2010 MSC Tournament on Friday (March 5) at the Frankfort (KY) Convention Center.

RedStorm drop season finale
Rio Grande --- The University of Rio Grande RedStorm men's basketball team closed out the 2009-10 regular season on Saturday afternoon and dropped an 86-68 decision to NAIA No. 10 Georgetown College at the Newt Oliver Arena.

RedStorm lose at Pikeville College
Pikeville, Ky. --- The University of Rio Grande RedStorm men's basketball team was plagued by a bad five minute span of time on Thursday night at the East Kentucky Expo Center and it resulted in a 94-80 loss to the Pikeville College Bears.
