Rio Grande --- The University of Rio Grande RedStorm baseball team has bolstered its 2010-11 pitching staff with the addition of Mike Deitsch from Finneytown High School. Deitsch recently signed his national letter of intent to play for the RedStorm beginning in the 2011 season.

Rio Grande --- The University of Rio Grande RedStorm baseball team is continuing to add talent to its 2010-11 recruiting class as the time for the fall semester draws near.  The latest recruit to sign on the dotted line is David Allen Steele, Jr. of Kettering Fairmont High School.

Rio Grande --- The University of Rio Grande RedStorm baseball program will be without senior-to-be second baseman Christian Frias in 2011 as he signed a professional contract with the Toronto Blue Jays over the weekend, thus ending his brief playing career with the RedStorm. 

Rio Grande --- The University of Rio Grande Baseball Fall League is no more. In its stead is the new University of Rio Grande Fall Baseball Academy.  Like the fall league, the baseball academy will be on Saturday's beginning August 28 and ending on October 2.

Rio Grande --- It was a busy week for the University of Rio Grande RedStorm baseball program as they continue stockpile talent for the future. The latest addition is Kevin Logan of Central Crossing High School. He is third newcomer to join the program in the past week. 

Rio Grande --- The University of Rio Grande RedStorm baseball program has added another recruit to the fold for the 2010-11 season with the signing of Columbus Briggs High School standout Zachary Taylor to a national letter of intent.
