    CINCINNATI, Ohio - Charlie Ronan had a pair of top 15 finishes, while Kyle Sanborn had a sixth place finish to lead the University of Rio Grande at the All-Ohio Track & Field Championships hosted by the University of Cincinnati.
    Ronan, a freshman from Cincinnati, Ohio, placed 11th in the men's 100m dash with a time of 11.01 and was 15th in the 200m dash with a time of 22.92.
    Sanborn, a sophomore from Dover, Ohio, took sixth in the men's 800m run after crossing the finish line in 1:55.37.

    SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Freshman Austin Wilson had a pair of top five finishes, while fellow freshman Dallas Guy set a new personal record with a second place finish of his own to lead the University of Rio Grande track & field team at last Saturday's Wittenberg University Invitational.
    Wilson, a native of Gallipolis, Ohio and a transfer from Coastal Carolina, took second place in the men's 100m dash with a time of 11.11, while also placing fifth in the 200m dash after crossing the finish line in 22.89.

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - While inclement weather forced the cancellation of the annual Cedarville Collegiate Open, two members of the University of Rio Grande track & field team did find a way to compete on Saturday - albeit in two different events.
    Freshman Nikki Worsham (Beavercreek, OH) was among the participants in the women's race walk at the Lindsey Wilson College Invitational in Columbia, Ky., while senior Mary Beth Schramm (Marietta, OH) competed close to home in the hammer throw as part of the Don Frail Invitational at Marietta College.

    MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Three University of Rio Grande runners posted top 10 finishes, while seventh RedStorm athletes established new personal-best performances at the Coastal Carolina University Invitational, which wrapped up Saturday at the CCU Track & Field Facility.
    Sophomore Kyle Sanborn (Dover, OH) had Rio's top performance of the day, taking third place in the men's seeded 800m run with a new personal record time of 1:56.04.
    The RedStorm's other top 10 finishes came from freshman Nate Kosnich (Pickerington, OH), who finished fifth in the men's open 400m hurdles with a time of 57.10, while senior Kaleb Kimber (Salisbury, NC) placed sixth in the men's high jump with a leap of 1.80m.

    BEXLEY, Ohio - Clarissa Johnson rewrote the Rio Grande record books and Kyle Sanborn took top honors in the men's 800-meter run, as the RedStorm track and field team put together an impressive showing at the Capital Classic hosted by Capital University on Saturday.
    Johnson, a freshman from Hillsboro, Ohio, placed second in the women's 500-meter run with a time of 1:21.16, breaking the previous school indoor record of 1:22.49 set by Leslie Bales in 1998.
    Sanborn, a sophomore from Dover, OH, registered a time of 1:57.66 en route to his top honor.
    Rio Grande also got a school-record effort of 12-6-1/4 from freshman Brandon Ray (Pickerington, OH) in the men's pole vault. He finished eighth among 11 competitors, but topped the previous record of 12-6 set by Jon Edwards in 1991 and equaled by John Huntsberger in 2004.
    One other first place finish was accomplished for the RedStorm, as the freshman quartet of Austin Wilson (Gallipolis, OH), Charlie Ronan (Cincinnati, OH), Austin Moore (Swedesboro, NJ) and Nate Kosnich (Pickerington, OH) took top honors in the men's 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:33.69.
