    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - A visit from Olympic gold medalist Mary Wineberg will highlight the 2014 Rio Grande Track & Field Camp, which is scheduled for July 6-10 on the campus of the University of Rio Grande.
    Wineberg will be speaking on Tuesday, July 8, at 11 a.m., inside Bob Evans Farms Hall on the URG campus. There will be autograph and photo opportunities for campers and the public following the presentation.
    After a break for lunch, Wineberg will remain on hand to conduct a handful of drills for campers.

    CARROLLTON, Ohio - University of Rio Grande director of track & field/cross country Steve Gruenberg has announced the signing of West Virginia Wesleyan College transfer April Sisk for the 2014-15 school year.
    Sisk, a 5-foot-9 thrower, is a 2012 graduate of Carrollton High School, where she competed in both the discus and shot put for head coach Greg Platt's Warriors.
    She attended WV Wesleyan in the fall of 2012, but did not compete for the Bobcats.

    SOMERSET, Ohio - University of Rio Grande director of track & field/cross country Steve Gruenberg has announced the signing of Ohio Virtual Academy's Tyanna Petty for the 2014-15 school year.
    Petty, a 5-foot-5 multi-sport athlete for her coach - and father - Lee Petty, has competed in 17 different sports during her young career and was a 2013 AAU national champion in the pentathlon.
    For Petty, signing with the RedStorm will provide an opportunity that she hasn't been afforded during her enrollment at OVA, a homeschool program which utilizes an online curriculum.

    NEW PARIS, Ohio - University of Rio Grande director of track & field/cross country Steve Gruenberg has announced the signing of National Trail High School's Andrea Hunt for the 2014-15 school year.
    Hunt, a 5-foot-9 distance runner, ran for head coach Chris Byrd's cross country squad and coach John Lickfelt's track & field squad during her prep career with the Blazers.
    Hunt was a two-time first team All-Cross County Conference selection in both track and cross country and was also named a first team all-county honoree in both sports.

    REEDSVILLE, Ohio - University of Rio Grande director of track & field/cross country Steve Gruenberg has announced the signing of Eastern High School standout Keri Lawrence for the 2014-15 school year.
    Lawrence, a 5-foot-6 distance/mid-distance runner, is closing out a solid prep career for head coach Josh Fogle's Eagles.
    Lawrence is a two-time state meet qualifier, in addition to an All-Tri-Valley Conference selection, the TVC High Point Award winner, an All-Southeast District honoree and the Southeast District Athlete of the Year.

    CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - University of Rio Grande director of track & field/cross country Steve Gruenberg has announced the signing of Southeastern High School's Rachel Ball for the 2014-15 school year.
    Ball, a 5-foot-2 distance runner, was named All-Scioto Valley Conference in cross country in each of her four prep seasons and has been a district champion and regional qualifier in both cross country and track for head coach Josh Cooper's Panthers.
    "I'm extremely excited and nervous. I really want to better myself and work harder since I'll be competing at a higher level," said Ball. "I've wanted to run collegiately since I was eight years old. I watched my oldest sister run when I was little and she inspired me to follow in her footsteps."
