    RIO GRANDE, Ohio – University of Rio Grande cross country/track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Gallia Academy High School's Morgan Foster for the 2013-14 school year.
    Foster has lettered in both sports at GAHS for head coach Todd May, in addition to being a member of the school's National Honor Society for two years.

    VANCOUVER, Wash. – A trio of runners representing the University of Rio Grande closed out the 2012 cross country season by participating in the NAIA National Championship meet, Saturday afternoon, at a rainy Fort Vancouver National Historical Site.

    RIO GRANDE – Three runners representing the University of Rio Grande are among those participating in the NAIA National Cross Country Championships on Saturday at the Fort Vancouver Historical Site in Vancouver, Wash.
    Nick Wilson and Joe Taranto will represent the RedStorm on the men's side, while Kayla Renner will be among those vying for the women's crown.

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio – Two members of the University of Rio Grande women's cross country team have been named an Academic All-Mid-South Conference selection.
    Senior Amy Lower (Lancaster, OH) and sophomore Brittany Piccone (Crooksville, OH) represented the RedStorm on the list of 30 honorees announced by the league following the 2012 MSC Championships last Saturday on the URG campus.

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio – Senior Kayla Renner managed a seventh place finish to pace the University of Rio Grande women in the Mid-South Conference Cross Country Championships, Saturday morning, on the URG campus.
    Renner (Galloway, OH) finished the 5K course in a time of 19:43 to earn first team All-MSC honors and punch her ticket to the NAIA National Championship meet, which is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 17, in Fort Vancouver, Washington.

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio – The University of Rio Grande will play host to the 2012 Mid-South Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning.
The men's 8K race will get underway at 10:15 a.m., with the women's 5K race to follow at 11:15 a.m.
    All 11 MSC schools are expected to participate in the event. Along with the host RedStorm, the list of competitors includes Bluefield College, Campbellsville University, the University of the Cumberlands, Cumberland University, Georgetown College, Lindsey Wilson College, the University of Pikeville, Shawnee State University, St. Catharine College and the University of Virginia's College at Wise.
