    RIO GRANDE, Ohio – University of Rio Grande men's basketball head coach Ken French has announced the signing of Gabe Davila for the 2013-14 season.
    A 6-foot-1, 175-pound point guard, Davila will be making a return to the court after a two-year hiatus.
    Davila, who played high school basketball at Beachwood High School in suburban Cleveland, Ohio, last played at Delaware Technical Community College during the 2010-11 season and helped the Hawks reach the NJCAA Division II national tournament.
    By signing with Rio Grande, Davila will also be reunited with former Delaware Tech teammate Josh Reagan.

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio – University of Rio Grande men's basketball head coach Ken French has announced the signing of Cuyahoga Community College transfer Josh Reagan for the 2013-14 season.
    Reagan, a 6-foot-6, 235-pound power forward, averaged 25 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game for the Challengers this year. He ranked third nationally in scoring and sixth in rebounding among all NJCAA Division II teams.
    Prior to playing at CCC, commonly referred to as Tri-C, the Lakewood High School graduate spent one season at Delaware Technical Community College, where he averaged 19.1 points and 12.2 rebounds for a team that reached the NJCAA national tournament.

    LOGAN, Ohio – University of Rio Grande men's basketball head coach Ken French has announced the signing of Logan High School's Anthony "Bird" McNeal for the 2013-14 season.
    McNeal, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard, averaged 9.4 points per game for head coach John Helber's Chieftains, who finished the 2012-13 season at 8-15 following a loss to Westerville North in Division I sectional tournament play.
    "It's a very special and emotional day for me," McNeal said, shortly after his signing ceremony just outside of the LHS gymnasium. "I have a great sense of gratitude toward Rio Grande and coach French for giving me the chance to put on the red and white and become part of the program. I'm very happy and I'm excited about getting started."

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - The University of Rio Grande men's basketball program has announced its 2013 summer camp and shootout schedule.
    The individual camp schedule includes:
    * A Point Guard Camp for boys and girls age 12-18 on Saturday, June 8. Cost is $30.
    * A Shooting Camp for boys and girls age 8-18, June 10-12, with a cost of $60 per camper.
    * The Little Storm Day Camp for boys and girls age 6-9, June 17-19. Cost is $60.
    * The "Hard Work" Camp for boys age 10-18 is set for June 23-28. Cost is $280 for overnight campers and $200 for commuters.

    WEST JEFFERSON, Ohio – University of Rio Grande men's basketball head coach Ken French has announced the signing of West Jefferson High School's Kyle Rollins for the 2013-14 campaign.
    Rollins, a 6-foot, 185-pound guard, was a key figure for head coach Bob Hunter's Roughriders this season, helping the squad to a 17-7 finish following a season-ending 41-40 loss to Worthington Christian in the second round of the Division III Central District Tournament.

    FRANKFORT, Ky. – University of Rio Grande men's basketball standout D.D. Joiner was named Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year, while also being named to the All-MSC Second Team during last Thursday's annual awards banquet prior to the start of the MSC Tournament.
    Joiner led a trio of RedStorm players recognized by the league for their performances both on the court and in the classroom.
    Sophomore guards Travis Elliott (Ironton, OH) and Evan Legg (Piketon, OH) both were among those who received Academic All-MSC honors.
    Both teams were named prior to the start of the MSC Tournament at the league's annual awards banquet in Frankfort, Ky.
