    HILLIARD, Ohio – University of Rio Grande cross country/track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Hilliard Darby High School's Lane Hagar for the 2013-14 school year.
    Hagar, a 5-foot-11, 135-pound distance runner, was a second team All-Ohio Capital Conference cross country selection last season for the Panthers of head coach Mark Tremayne – himself a former runner at Rio Grande. He also was an All-Central District honoree.

    NEWARK, Ohio – University of Rio Grande head cross country/track & field coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Newark High School's Kameron Carpenter for the 2013-14 season.
    Carpenter was a 5-foot-11, 130-pound distance runner for head coach Randy Noftz's Wildcats, competing in the 800-meter run, the 1,600-meter run, the 3,200-meter run and the 5,000-meter run during the course of his prep track career. 
    After running a personal-best time of 16:02.14 and placing 39th in the Ohio State Cross Country Championship back in November, Carpenter competed exclusively in the 3,200-meter run this spring. He ran a season-best 10:09.18 in the Ohio Capital Conference (OCC) championship meet on May 18 and had a time of 10:20 for a 16th place showing in district championship action.

    BYESVILLE, Ohio – University of Rio Grande cross country/track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Meadowbrook High School's Dallas Guy for the 2013-14 school year.
    Guy, a 5-foot-9, 145-pound distance runner, has enjoyed an accomplished prep career for the Colts and coaches Jim Moore and John Epperson.
    Guy is a three-time first team All-East Central Ohio League selection – twice in cross country and once in track. He also earned a second team All-ECOL selection in cross country during his high school career.

    UHRICHSVILLE, Ohio – University of Rio Grande cross country/track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Cory Dotts for the 2013-14 school year.
    Dotts, a 5-foot-9, 135-pound distance runner, comes to Rio Grande after spending his freshman season at Malone University. His prep career was spent at Claymont High School, where he ran for head coach Mark Allbaugh's Mustangs.

    UHRICHSVILLE, Ohio – University of Rio Grande cross country/track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Claymont High School's Blake Freed for the 2013-14 school year.
    The 6-foot-1, 145-pound Freed, who was a team captain for head coach Mark Albough's Mustangs, finished 47th in the Ohio Division II cross country state championships in November and was named an Eastern District All-Star by the Eastern District Track & Cross Country Coaches Association.

    KENT, Ohio – University of Rio Grande head cross country/track & field coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Theodore Roosevelt High School's Nate Goodhart for the 2013-14 school year.
    Goodhart is a four-year letter winner in cross country and a two-year letterman in track for head coach Julie Healy's Rough Riders.
