Assistant Coach - 2nd Season

Boyles, a former resident of neighboring Meigs County, began attending Rio Grande as an undergraduate in 2000 and walked on to the cross country and track teams. Boyles went on to improve dramatically, capturing 10 All-American titles, 4 National Championships, 4 Academic All-American titles and named the 2004 All-Ohio Cross Country Runner of the Year.

After completion of his undergraduate studies, we moved to the Olympic Training Center outside of San Diego in Chula Vista, CA. Boyles went on to a pair of 2nd place finishes in the 2008 Olympic trails, but failed to make the team due to lack of a World "A" Standard.

Boyles returned to Rio to continue his education in pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and to work as an assistant coach, specializing in distance events, for the cross country and track teams.

Boyles gives his Lord, Jesus Christ, all the glory for his life and accomplishments and desires greatly to share the hope and good news of salvation in Christ wherever he goes.
