Crystal Taylor
Assistant Coach - 1st Season
Crystal Taylor joins the RedStorm coaching staff this season after playing four seasonsof college basketball, culminating with one season at the University of Cumberlands, in which she earned All-Mid-South Conference honors and was an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American. Prior to attending Cumberlands, Taylor played at Schoolcraft College, Wayne County Community College and St. Augustine's College.
Taylor, a native of Flint, MI, moved to Detroit at the age of three and attended St. Bridget Catholic School. She graduated from Mumford High School with honors and play basketball all four years.
She is pursuing her Master's degree while assisting Coach Smalley, Taylor will serve as the head coach of the junior varsity team.
Her future plans include going into the field of corrections dealing with the government, FBI or CIA.
