Kirsten Roberson
Assistant Coach - 3rd Season
Kirsten Roberson is in her third season in the Rio Grande coaching staff as an assistant coach. Roberson came to Rio Grande prior to 2006-2007 season after playing for former URG assistant coach Melissa Irvin at the University of Cumerlands (KY). Roberson started all four years for Cumberlands and helped lead them to three consecutive conference titles. She eclipsed the 1,000-career point plateau playing primarily the small foward position.
In additon to assisting Coach Smalley, Roberson heads up the junior varsity program and is involved in all phases of the varsty program.
Roberson is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is pursuing her Master's degree in Athletics Coaching Leadership.
Roberson is single and resides on the Rio Grande campus.
