Aaron Quinn

Assistant Coach - 5th Season
     Quinn is in his fifth season as an assistant coach with the RedStorm. He also serves as the Dean of Students at Rio Grande.
     Quinn is a graduate of URG. He played his final season at Rio Grande at the age of 35 after being out of college for 12 years. He also spent time at Ohio University, Ohio Dominican University and Capital University before finishing his career at Rio Grande.
     Quinn is also a graduate of Cambridge High School in Cambridge, Ohio and spent 12 years with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
     He and his wife, Lovel, have two children - Ethan (16) and Madeline (13).
 

Ken French

Head Coach - 6th Season
     French begins his sixth season as the men's basketball head coach at the University of Rio Grande. Prior to becoming the head coach of the RedStorm, he spent six seasons as the program's top assistant coach.
     A native of Huntington, W.Va., French is a 1987 graduate of Buffalo-Wayne High School, a 1988 graduate of Fishburne Military Academy in Waynesboro, Va. and a 1993 graduate of West Virginia State College. He began his coaching career at the high school level, spending four seasons as an assistant coach at Huntington St. Joseph Central Catholic High School before a two-year stint as an assistant at Ceredo-Kenova High School.
     French's collegiate coaching career began as an assistant coach at Tusculum College in Greeneville, TN, where he spent three seasons before coming to Rio Grande in 1999. Upon his arrival at Rio, French helped guide the men's program to a pair of appearances in the NAIA Division II National Tournament, including a Final Four berth in 2001.
     Under French's direction, Rio Grande's summer basketball camps - the Little RedStorm Day Camp and the Individual "Hard Work" Camp - have seen the number of participants grow to record levels. He has been instrumental in the development of the Rio Fall Basketball Academy.
    French also serves as the school's athletic recruiting coordinator and is heading up the NAIA "Champions of Character" Initiative for the entire URG athletic program for the 12th year. He was certified by the NAIA as a "Champions of Character" instructor in October 2005.
     The men's basketball program has also seen a perfect 100 percent graduation rate of its seniors during French's tenure as head coach.
     He and his wife, Tonya, reside in Rio Grande with their two children, son Tre and daughter Ali.
 

Jeff Williamson

Assistant Coach - 1st Season
     Williamson is in his first season as an assistant varsity coach at Rio Grande. He will also serve as the head coach of the school's junior varsity squad and is the program's film exchange coordinator.
     A native of Ramage, W.Va., Williamson is a graduate of Salem International University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education in 2010. He also received a Bachelor's Degree in Health Education from SIU in May 2011 and is currently working toward a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.
    Williamson was a three-year varsity basketball player at Scott High School in Madison, W.Va. before finishing his prep career at Logan (W.Va.) High School. As a senior, he was the captain of a Wildcat squad which finished 22-6 and captured the 2005 Class AA state championship.
    Prior to arriving at URG, Williamson served as a student manager for both the men's basketball team at Fairmont State (W.Va.) University and the women's basketball team at West Virginia University. He was also a student assistant coach with the men's basketball team at Salem International, as well as an assistant boys' basketball coach at Logan High School and Logan Middle School.
 

Aaron Drakeford

Assistant Coach - 1st Season
     Drakeford is in his first season as an assistant coach at Rio Grande. His duties include day-to-day office operations, recruiting and individual instruction.
     The Columbus, Ohio native is a graduate of the University of Rio Grande and Columbus East High School. He was a three-player for the RedStorm after spending one season at Cerritos Community College.
     After finishing his career at URG, Drakeford played professionally in England with the Guildford Heat and with the Cleveland Vipers of the UBA.
     Drakeford is the son Aaron, Sr. and Dy Drakeford. He has one sister and three nephews.
 

Jeremiah Diebler

Assistant Coach - 1st Season
   Diebler is in his first season as an assistant coach at Rio Grande. His duties include day-to-day basketball operations and scouting.
   Diebler, who his currently completing his college studies at URG, played three seasons at Lindsey Wilson College. In his senior season at Gibsonburg High School, he was named the Division IV Co-Player of the Year.
   He previously served as a freshman boys' basketball coach at Fostoria High School and spent three seasons as a volunteer assistant coach at Upper Sandusky High School.
   Diebler's siblings are also heavily involved in athletics. His brother, Jake, is an assistant basketball coach at Valparaiso University and his brother, Jon, was a standout at Ohio State University who was drafted in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft by the Portland Trailblazers. His sister, Courtney Machiusi, is a member of the junior varsity volleyball team at Lindsey Wilson.
   Diebler is engaged to Erin McGrath. The couple has a daughter, Callie Jessica.
