Head Coach - 1st Season
     Bradshaw is beginning her first season as the head softball coach at the University of Rio Grande.
     Bradshaw comes to URG after spending the 2011 season as a student assistant/volunteer assistant coach at Wright State University, where she also graduated from earlier this spring following a stellar playing career.

     A native of Portsmouth, Ohio and a 2006 graduate of Northwest High in McDermott, Bradshaw was a four-year letter winner at Wright State and a member of three Horizon League championship teams. She was a first team All-Horizon League selection as a sophomore and a senior and was a second team All-Horizon pick as both a freshman and a junior.

    During her final season in a Raiders uniform, Bradshaw was named the Most Valuable Player and the Outstanding Defensive player of the Horizon League tournament.

    Bradshaw finished as Wright State's all-time career leader in games played (236), games started (236), runs (173), doubles (46), runs batted in (162), total bases (393) and assists (622). She also ranks second in the program's history in at bats (752), hits (249), slugging percentage (.525), walks (97) and stolen bases (83) and is third on the school's all-time list with 24 home runs.

    Bradshaw's assists total is the top career mark in Horizon League history and she ranks in the league's all-time top 10 in at bats, hits, RBI, triples and stolen bases.

 

Amber Bowman
Grad Assistant - 1st Season
    Bowman is in her first season as an assistant coach at Rio Grande after closing out her playing career with the RedStorm last spring.
    The Hebron, Ohio native is a graduate of Lakewood High School. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Phyiscal Education, with a minor in Health, from Rio Grande in the Spring of 2011.
    A four-year starter at shortstop for the RedStorm, Bowman was an All-Mid-South Conference selection as a senior and an honorable mention All-MSC pick as a junior. She was named to the All-MSC Academic Team both seasons.
    As a senior, Bowman batted .356 with 11 doubles, two triples, two home runs and 33 runs batted in. She had 47 total hits, scored 28 runs and finished with a .515 slugging percentage.
    Bowman finished her career with 32 doubles, eight triples, two home runs and 92 runs batted in.
