Fort Vancouver, Wash. --- University of Rio Grande junior Kayla Renner competed at the 31st Annual NAIA Women's National Cross Country National Championship on Saturday at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.
Renner, a native of Galloway, Ohio, finished the race with a time of 20:19 in 221st place. Renner ran at a 6:33 clip for the 3.1-mile race.
There were 331 runners in the race.
This was the second straight season that Renner competed at the NAIA National Meet. Although she did not better her finish from last season (172nd) she did knock seven seconds of her 2009 time.
Renner will now get ready for the upcoming track and field season.
