Athens, Ohio --- It was a good old-fashioned dual meet for the University of Rio Grande RedStorm men's cross country team on Saturday as they ventured up state route 32 to face off with the Ohio Bobcats. The trip did not go so well for the Red & White as they lost the meet, 48-15. 

Sophomore Nick Wilson (Fleming, OH) was the top RedStorm finisher, crossing the line 6^th overall with a time of 15:53.83 for the five-kilometer event. 

Junior Zane Miller (Grove City, OH) was the second Rio runner to finish. He was 16^th with a time of 16:51.87.

Other RedStorm results: sophomore Kyle Goode (Racine, OH), 25^th (18:19.93); freshman Dylan Roush (Racine, OH), 27^th (18:39.61) and junior Justin Hartley (Glouster, OH), 29^th (18:57.79).

There were 31 runners in the race, 12 of which competed unattached. 

The Bobcats claimed the top five spots in the race with Scott Meyers winning the event with a time of 15:40.08.

Rio Grande will get two weeks off as they prepare for the Rio Grande Invitational on September 25 at the Stanley Evans Athletic Complex.
