RIO GRANDE, Ohio – A quartet of runners representing the University of Rio Grande will be among those participating in the 2015 NAIA Cross Country National Championship on Saturday at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, N.C.
The RedStorm women will be represented by freshman Lucy Williams (Athens, OH), while the trio of juniors Blake Freed (Uhrichsville, OH) and Dallas Guy (Buffalo, OH) and freshman Mike Norris (Dayton, OH) will represent the Rio men.
The men's national championship race is set for a 10:30 a.m. start, with the women's race to follow at 11:30 a.m.

Williams was among the top four finishers who weren't a part of Point Park University's title-winning team.
Freed was the runner-up in the KIAC men's championship, crossing just ahead of Guy, although both officially finished the 8K race in 26:53.7. Norris crossed the finish line in 27:14.
