RIO GRANDE, Ohio – The University of Rio Grande volleyball team will look to forge a three-way tie for second place in the Mid-South Conference when it hosts Bluefield (Va.) College for "Senior Night" on Thursday, at 6:30 p.m., at the Newt Oliver Arena.
The game was originally set to be played Tuesday night, but was rescheduled after the Bluefield area was blanketed by heavy snow as part of Hurricane Sandy.

The RedStorm (19-8 overall, 10-3 MSC) have won 16 of their last 19 outings, including a 3-1 over the Rams in Bluefield on September 25.
A victory tonight would not only extend Rio's perfect record at home this season, but would also tie Campbellsville and Lindsey Wilson for second place in the league standings.
Head coach Billina Donaldson's team is coming off a 3-0 rout of the University of Pikeville on Monday night.
Rio Grande's success continues to come from its play at the net, where the RedStorm lead the MSC and rank fourth in the nation with a .292 hitting percentage. Two players rank among the league's top four individuals in the category.
Senior middle blocker Erin Sherman tops the conference leaders and is sixth in the country with a .392 hitting percentage, while senior outside hitter Whitney Smith is fourth in the league at .344.
Sherman also tops the league in blocks with 104 and is 13th in kills with 274, while Smith is second in kills with 359 and tied for 16th in digs with 277.
Sophomore middle blocker Betsy Schramm (Marietta, OH) and freshman middle blocker Alex Phillips (Williamsport, OH) have also made an impact up front. Schramm ranks 17th in the MSC with a .234 hitting percentage and is tied for 19th with 231 kills, while Phillps is 16th with 64 blocks.
Junior setter Kelsey Martin (Jackson, OH) is seventh in the conference with 626 assists, while junior setter Kayla Landaker (Coshocton, OH) is 13th with 372 assists of her own. Junior defensive specialist/libero Nicole Ogg (Albany, OH) ranks 15th with 279 digs.
Bluefield (16-19, 4-8) is led by freshman outside hitter Jasmine Morrow, who leads the MSC with 418 kills. She also ranks ninth in digs (302) and 14th in hitting percentage (.243). Senior setter Cheznee Daily is third in the league with 860 assists.
Other players to watch for the Rams include freshman hitter Colby Combs (291 kills, 277 digs), freshman middle hitter Amber Taylor-Inge (71 blocks) and senior middle hitter Angi Highlander (65 blocks).
Rio Grande's trio of seniors - Smith, Sherman and defensive specialist/libero Lauren Raines (Albany, OH) - will be recognized in pre-game ceremonies.
Live video of the match and the Senior Night festivities will be available at www.ihigh.com/redstorm beginning at 6:20 p.m.
